About the Event

How to Play

Trivia titans, clandestine cheaters, lovers of literature, and fans of fish are welcome to join us! In fact, all are welcome. Once you've gathered your team of 5, you must register on our Trivia for Cheaters portal. Your team will have a page and each individual team member will have a page, which will be used to track and receive all of your donations. Each team must raise $1,000 to be eligible to play. (In a 5 person team, that's $200 each—but you can raise it however you'd like. No one individual is required to pay the $200 out-of-pocket unless they'd like to.)

On March 20, show up at Hook and Ladder at 7 pm ready to play the best game of trivia you've ever played.

To get started, go here. If you have questions about how to set up your page, go to our FAQ.

Cheat! On the day of the event, the money you've raised will go toward your "cheat bank." This is the amount of money you have to "purchase" cheats during the game. All the proceeds go to MOI, so don't worry about spending it! If you have a tough question, or another team is taking the lead, use the money you've raised to purchase a cheat to give you a tentacle up. Of course, you don't have to buy cheats, but if you have the money, why not?
