Field Trip Handbook
MOI's Captain has been looking for the Lost Ocean of Minnesota and they've read every book they took with them, so it's our job to write more. Join 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders in writing original stories for the Captain for Storytelling & Bookmaking Field Trips. Check out how the program is run in the Field Trip Handbook.
Has it been a little while since you used algebra? Does the prospect of a third-grade book report make your palms sweat? Have no fear! Here are a handful of resources you can use to refresh your knowledge. Just remember: you did it when you were a student, you can do it again as a tutor.
Mid-Continent Oceanographic Institute follows the St. Paul Public Schools calendar for our program calendar, so when they're closed, we're closed. This applies to conference days and snow days. For more information on the SPPS Winter Weather plan, go here. For our calendar, click below.
Reinforcing Language Resource
One of MOI's goals for this semester is to continue to be more mindful of our language. In particular, we're focusing in on reinforcing language as a way to improve the student experience, as well as increase student engagement. Reinforcing language also helps them learn better.
